Steamers Bar and Grill

Steamers Bar and Grill is a nod to Wollongong’s industrial era when steam boats serviced the south coast of New South Wales in the 1800s; transporting passengers, produce and livestock.

With a strong focus on organic, locally sourced produce, Steamers Bar and Grill  is a culinary experience not to be missed.

From dry-aging and wood smoking their organic, OBE beef in house to the exemplary quality of the produce used through the dishes, Steamers Bar and Grill are raising the bar on taste, authenticity and service.

Their organic farm sits in the valleys of Jamberoo, a rural township in NSW which is highly regarded for its nutrient rich, fertile soil. As champions of this farm-to-fork movement, Steamers Bar and Grill can ensure maximum freshness of the food, with a heavy focus on delicious seasonal varieties.

Team this together with the great communal dining experience and you won’t find anything else like it in Wollongong.

Breakfast on the terrace presents an exquisite start to any morning, with unparalleled views of the ocean and Flagstaff Hill – it’s the perfect spot to sip a cappuccino and soak in the morning sunlight.

Steamers Bar and Grill will be open for breakfast Friday through to Sunday from 7am.

Lunch at Steamers is an invitation to linger and soak in the stunning views overlooking Wollongong lighthouse and City Beach from the terrace.

Steamers Bar and Grill lunch service starts at 12pm daily.

Evenings promise to be a vibrant, bustling and sophisticated affair with tasting plates and share platters presenting a contemporary fusion of fresh, innovative local flavours.

Steamers Bar and Grill dinner service starts at 5pm.

Bar snacks menu is available every day.
