Fire and Rescue Open Day

Our fire stations are opening their doors to the community on Saturday, 19 May for our annual Open Day.

This is an opportunity to get a personal glimpse into Australia’s busiest fire and rescue service – Fire and Rescue NSW.

You will get a chance to inspect the fire trucks and meet your local firefighters who will be demonstrating our broad range of skills and equipment, which goes far beyond firefighting.

There will be activities for the kids and a lot of information on smoke alarms, home fire prevention and staying safe.

You can speak to firefighters about fire safety in the home, including how to install and maintain smoke alarms and how to develop a home escape plan to ensure they can quickly and safely escape a fire.

Come and see how Fire and Rescue NSW is prepared for anything. We help anyone, anywhere, anytime.
