Meet Sleepy Burrows Wombats at Illawarra Fly Treetop Adventures these School Holidays

These school holidays, Illawarra Fly Treetop Adventures and our friends at Sleepy Burrows Wombat Sanctuary invite you to meet Warra the Wombat. Warra is a rescued wombat who currently resides at Sleepy Burrows Wombat Sanctuary, he was found injured and required rehabilitation before he could be released. Illawarra Fly Treetop Adventures are sponsoring Warra (named after Illawarra) to ensure he has food and shelter during his stay at Sleep Burrows, as well as to help educate the community on wombats and Sleepy Burrows conservation effort!

3 July, 16 July and 17 July from 11am – 1pm, meet and greet with a wombat, learn about these adorable animals from the experts from Sleep Burrows Wombat Sanctuary, join a question and answer session and sign up to be a Wombassador! Plus, enjoy adorable wombat colouring in and take a walk along the Treetop Walk for your chance to spot Illawarra Fly Treetop Adventures resident wombat, Dozer!

Over the school holidays, we hope to raise $2,000 for Sleepy Burrows Wombat Sanctuary which will be used for much needed restoration of wombat homes after the recent storms as well as for new fences and wombat food supplies.

Please note dates and times are subject to change as the safety of the animals comes first.
