Michael Grose – Raising Confident and Resilient Kids
TIGS is pleased to invite you to a fantastic guest speaker event here at school on 22 August 2016.
Michael Grose is the author of 9 parenting books, including Thriving! and the best-selling ‘Why First-Borns Rule the World and Last-Borns Want to Change it’. His popular parenting columns appear in newspapers and magazines across Australia.
He appears regularly on television including Channel 10’s The Project, and is a popular and entertaining speaker. Michael has an education background and holds a Master of Educational Studies with research into what makes healthy families tick. Michael will present an interactive workshop commencing at 7:30pm. The workshop will run for 90 minutes and during this time Michael will give insight and take home strategies for raising confident and resilient kids. Please note that childcare is not provided at this event and parents are encouraged to organise alternate care for their children so that they can best benefit from this opportunity.
This event will be open to the broader Illawarra Community and places will be limited so please reserve your seat by booking a free ticket.
