Nature Meditation Experience | De-stress and relieve anxiety

About the experience…

Being in nature can enhance health, increase wellbeing and overall assist you to live a happier life. Back in the times of our great ancestors, we lived and evolved in nature. In today’s hectic world, most of us couldn’t be further away from nature and unfortunately our mental health has all the scars to prove it. Take the journey back to nature as a way to reconnect back to your authentic life, rediscover who you really are and improve your overall wellbeing.

1 in 3 women and 1 in 8 men will experience anxiety in their lifetime*. At times it can feel like it’s only us suffering, but the reality is – it’s very common. Nature is a perfect environment to assist relieving the effects of anxiety and stress, combined with meditation and healing exercises you can start or continue the journey to long term healing in a relaxed, non-judgemental and informal atmosphere.

When you join us on this experience you will;

– be assisted to release anxiety and improve your wellbeing
– be guided to identify areas in your life which are causing stress and/or anxiety
– take home techniques to help deal with anxiety and everyday stress
– cultivate new practices to make positive improvements in your life
– enjoy a nature experience to rediscover your true self

The 2 hour session will include;

– guided meditations
– journalling
– nature healing
– take home information and practices
– nourishing morning tea

If you want to make a positive step to assist in healing anxiety, stress or just need some time out, this event will leave you feeling re-energised, positive and confident that you can cultivate simple healing practices in your life. We try to keep the experience as ‘down to earth’ as possible and is suitable for all.

The location…

Mt Keira Scout Camp is one of Wollongong’s most spectacular destinations. With beautiful rainforest and a long history in the Illawarra, the Scout Camp is a perfect location. The chapel area is home to many beautiful plants and animals and will completely assist us in the journey back to nature in this picturesque location.
