NSW State Emergency Service Open Day

Ever wondered what it’s like to be an SES volunteer?

The NSW State Emergency Service state headquarters is throwing open its doors to the community on Saturday, 4th November from 11.00am till 2.00pm.

FREE entry and entertainment for the whole family.

Discover the whole range of emergency management in our brand new State Headquarters – sit in trucks, check out our flood rescue boats and rescue equipment, meet our mascot ‘Paddy’ the platypus and learn about our operations.

Multiple road crash and large animal rescue demonstrations, tours of the facility and plenty to see and do!

This is an exciting day out for people of all ages where you can meet the #volunteers who keep our community safe, and learn how you can take care of what matters during an emergency.

Community safety information will be available with specialists on hand to provide information on how you can reduce your risk during storm season.

Sausage sizzle and café open.
