The Tongarra Train Fest at Illawarra Light Railway Museum in Albion Park is a fun filled day for the whole family.

Kids and ‘big’ kids alike will enjoy steam, diesel & miniature train rides throughout the day at the Tongarra Train Fest at the Illawarra Light Railway.
There will also be historical railway items on display and locomotive shed tours.
Make use of the great picnic area and childrens’ play equipment plus go back in time when you stroll through the historical Museum.

Train Ride Prices
$15 per adult unlimited rides and entry.
$10 per child/concession unlimited rides and entry.
$5 entry only nil train rides.
Illawarra Light Railway Location
The museum is located at 48a Tongarra Road, Albion Park Rail on the Southern side of the Illawarra regional airport. The museum is a 100 km drive south of Sydney and a 20 minute drive south of Wollongong.
Entry into the museum grounds is free which includes free usage of the picnic grounds with wood fired bbq’s and child’s play areas. Parking is available inside the museum grounds.
Free parking is available on site.
The museum site is a short walk from the Albion Park Rail railway station. A bus service is also available from near the museum site.
