Yoga | Manic Organic Woonona
Who said anything about putting your foot behind your head?
It is not about what you look like, or how flexible you are/are not, or even whether you can even “do” yoga. It is about connection, gentle movement and developing an awareness of your breath, with the aim of reducing stress and increasing mindfulness in daily life.
Manic Organic yoga classes are open to men and women or all ages and ability. Mats are provided. No particular outfit is required – just something comfortable that you can move in. The focus is on “community”, so everyone is welcome to attend.*
Owned by Rachel (of Ray of Light Yoga in Bulli) and Mick, Manic Organic is a special little shop and yoga oasis for the Woonona community – located opposite the service station in Woonona (409 Princes Hwy). The organic grocery shop, which stocks a wide range of certified organic produce, groceries and eco-friendly household items, has recently expanded its “pop-up” yoga offering (which commenced in late 2016).
It now runs six morning classes and a lunch-time class. Two new early bird 6am classes might interest busy professionals just before they jump on the train to head north for work.
These are drop-in classes, so no booking is required.
Cost – $15.00 per class (cash).
So please join our little community in bustling Woonona and walk away feeling stretched and peaceful. Little acts of self care do wonders for the rest of your life.
