You could almost taste the euphoria as Aussie rock legends and Lismore quartet Grinspoon took to the stage in front of a sold-out audience at Waves Wollongong as part of their Chemical Hearts national tour.
With the audience buzzing with anticipation following performances from The Hard Aches, The Gooch Palms, and Bugs, Grinspoon hit the stage with a burst of unbridled energy, sending a tidal wave of excitement across the crowd.
And if you think age has slowed them down, think again! Frontman Phil Jamieson along with band members Pat Davern, Joe Hansen and Kristian Hopes delivered a non-stop dynamite performance with their trademark charisma.
With the crowd chanting praise, the band delivered hit after hit with crowd favourites including No Reason, Better Off Dead and Rock Show (You Don’t Know Me).
Proving why they continue to be a favourite on the Australian music scene, they continued to blow fans away with a mixture of their entire back catalogue including Pedestrian. Hard Act To Follow, Better Off Alone, Champion and of course Chemical Heart.
It’s the first time we’ve seen these guys since their 20th anniversary tour of debut album ‘Guide To Better Living’ in 2017 but boy oh boy, Grinspoon certainly proved they are still in our hearts with their ‘Chemical Hearts’ tour.
