Located on the historic site of the former Pasta Fina factory The Icon is a landmark cafe, restaurant, bar and live music venue . The concept of The Icon was born from the entrepreneurial mind of Dimitri Skarvelis who had a vision to turn 400 square metres of concrete space in the heart of Wollongong into a thriving hospitality venue and a sanctuary for anyone and everyone .

The Icon brings people together and cannot be defined by a specific style of cuisine, it simply tells the story of a boy who was brought up in Australia by Greek immigrants. His love, flair and passion for food as well as his fascination for American culture is evident throughout The Icon .
