Therapy, Assessment, & Support for Children, Adolescents, and Adults

FSA Psychology provides evidence-based psychology services for children, adolescents, and adults, offering individual therapy, diagnostic assessments, and group programs to support emotional wellbeing, behavioural challenges, learning needs, and neurodivergence.

Their team supports a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, school or workplace difficulties, attachment or parenting challenges, and life transitions. They also offer comprehensive assessments for ADHD, Autism, intellectual disability, and Specific Learning Disorders, with reports suitable for school planning, workplace accommodations, and NDIS applications. Services are delivered in a safe, supportive, and neuro-affirming environment to help individuals build coping skills, confidence, and resilience across all stages of life.

Their psychologists offer one-on-one therapy tailored to each child’s needs, supporting children, adolescents, and adults to build skills, confidence, and emotional resilience. The team works with a broad range of concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, school or workplace difficulties, attachment or parenting challenges, and life transitions.

Diagnostic & Cognitive Assessments

FSA Psychology provides comprehensive assessments for children, adolescents and adults to support accurate diagnosis and planning, including:

• ADHD
• Autism
• Specific Learning Disorders (e.g. Dyslexia, Dyscalculia)
• Intellectual Disability
• Identification of learning difficulties

These assessment reports can be used to support NDIS applications.

Group Therapy Programs

They offer group programs that encourage emotional development, social connection and skill-building. Some programs are NDIS-specific and focus on emotional regulation, awareness of feelings, and positive interaction.

They also run specialised programs including:

• Westmead Feelings 1: suitable for young people aged 5-6 with a diagnosis of Autism OR aged 7-8 with a diagnosis of Autism and mild intellectual disability
• Westmead Feelings Program 2: Suitable for young people aged 7-12 with a diagnosis of autism and no accompanying intellectual impairment
• LEGO® Club: a neuro-affirming and child led intervention that takes a play-based approach to supporting children to develop their social communication skills.
