The Wollongong Youth Centre: A Safe, Creative Space for Ages 12-24 offering free programs, events and activities.

The Wollongong Youth Centre is a vibrant, inclusive space where young people aged 12-24 can explore new interests, connect with others, and enjoy a safe, welcoming environment. Thanks to the dedicated Youth Services team, the centre offers a wide range of free resources, information, and support programs to meet the unique needs of local youth.

Whether you’re looking to try something new, meet like-minded individuals, or build new skills, the Wollongong Youth Centre has something for everyone.

What’s available at the Wollongong Youth Centre:

• Free Resources: Charging stations, WiFi, and other amenities.
• Creative Workshops: Art and drama sessions to unlock your inner artist.
• Gaming & Events: Gaming on the big screen, live music, and community events.
• Social Groups: Rainbow League & Q-munity meetups for connection and support.
• Legal Aerosol Art Wall: A safe space to express yourself through art.
• Recreation: Pool and foosball tables, basketball, and skateboarding spaces.

School Holiday & Term Activities, Events & Programs

Wollongong Youth Centre also runs regular drop-in, free programs during the School Term and School Holidays + you can also stay up to date with their free events via their Facebook page here.

Wollongong Youth Centre provides free wi-fi, charging stations, gaming and activities.

Their drop-in hours during school term are:

• Tuesdays 3 - 6pm
• Thursdays 3 - 8pm
• Fridays 3 - 8pm
• Saturdays 1 - 4pm
