That’s right folks, it’s that magical time of year where the community comes together to sing, dance and be merry.

Invite aunties, uncles, grandparents or the next door neighbour to come along and soak up the festive cheer.

Schools’ Christmas – Crown St Mall

Sing along to all your favourite carols as school choirs from across the Illawarra region come together to perform on the main stage at Crown Street Mall.

City of Wollongong Bikers Toy Run

Date: Saturday, 1 December 2018
Where: Crown St Mall, Wollongong
Time: From 11 am

Each year hundreds of motorbike riders take part to bring toys for the Giving Tree which are then distributed to those in need within the Illawarra by local charities.

Welcome the motorbike riders as they arrive in the Crown Street Mall from 11 am followed by a fun community event with FREE face painting, jumping castle and live entertainment on the Crown Street Mall stage (until 12.30 pm).

This event is part of the Giving Tree which supports St Vincent de Paul and Anglicare who play an important role in helping make Christmas a special day for all children.

Carols and Markets – Bulli

Date: Sunday, 2 December 2018

Grab a picnic rug and enjoy markets and carols at Bulli Anglican Church. Carols start at 6:30 pm with an interactive kids drama (not rehearsed) starting from 6 pm.

There will also be a jumping castle, face painting, petting zoo and Christmas craft table.

Carols in Corrimal

The third annual Carols in Corrimal Committee invites you to grab some glowsticks and come along to sing your favourite Christmas carols.

Enjoy performances from students and performers from local schools and community groups.

Pulled beef rolls, steak sandwiches, sausage sandwiches, pies, sausage rolls, hot dogs, soft drink, lollies, ice creams and popcorn will also be available for purchase on the night.

Carols by Candlelight – Shellharbour City Council

Figtree Community Carols

Figtree Anglican Church invites you to join them for a fabulous evening of entertainment for all ages.

Local talent will lead the singing all your favourite carols plus enjoy a spectacular fireworks display.

There will be free face painting and activities for the little ones, low-cost rides, BBQ as well as a range of food vendors.

Santa Fest Wollongong 2018

The Disability Trust and the Salvos Wollongong invite you to a family friendly Santa Festival and Carols on Sunday 9 December at Lang Park.

TV star Prinnie Stevens will headline and present a wide range of performances during the afternoon and a full carol concert in the evening.

There will be food trucks, coffee, rides and entertainment and the carols will conclude after dark with a fireworks display.

Carols on the Lawn – Corrimal

Free family-friendly Carols on the Lawn hosted by Corrimal Community Church, and the Elastic Band.

Bring your singing voices and Christmas cheer for this family community fun time, with plenty of room on the lawn to sit, bring a chair or blanket.

Glow sticks will be available for a gold coin with a  BBQ from 5.30pm.

Kiama Community Carols in the Park

With a jam-packed program including a visit from Santa, this year’s Christmas Carols in Hindmarsh Park will put you and your family in the Christmas spirit!

This free community event is hosted by the Combined Churches of Kiama and includes the return of the renown children’s entertainer, Colin Buchanan who wowed the crowd and especially the kids last year.

Every year the Carols support a local charity and this year the Kiama Men’s Shed has been chosen. There will be a display of wooden toys and other products for sale at the Carols.

Please note that in the case of wet weather, the carols will take place in the Pavilion at Kiama Showground.

Dapto Community Christmas Festival

The outdoor service will commence at 6 pm on the church grounds, with a modern band rocking classic Christmas carols, puppets from Quiz Worx, and a Bible talk.

Austinmer Carols by the Sea
