Bush Magic After School Nature Immersion Program

Bush Magic Adventure's After School Program runs on Wednesdays, at the beautiful Wollongong Botanic Garden.

Throughout Terms 3 & 4 in 2025, we explored the gardens and discovered so much about the incredible plants and animals that call this place home. Now with summer in the air, there’s even more to see — from fresh buds and blossoms to birds busy building nests.

Children enjoy some of our favourite Bush School activities, while also diving deeper into the wonders of our local ecosystems. They’re learning to love nature, recognise the cycles of growth and renewal, and understand the interdependent relationships that keep our environment thriving.

Bush Magic Adventures' after-school program offers children the opportunity to get out into nature after a day at school to burn off energy, play freely, use their imaginations and experience some adventure and skill building with a difference.

Designed for all abilities, including NDIS and privately funded children, Bush Magic’s after-school sessions blend adventure and therapy so kids are having so much fun they don’t even realise how much they’re learning. Think nature play, confidence building and connection — the perfect reset after the school day.

It’s the perfect mix of fun, exploration, and connection with the natural world.
