Carving Wooden Small Animals & People - The Illawarra Woodwork School

This introductory series of three x 3 hour carving workshops where students will learn to use safely whittling knives and carving tools to create small objects such as animal shapes, spoons and small people.

In addition, each student will receive a MORA 106 wood carving knife to keep & continue their carving at home.

Decoration can be applied with a pyrography (wood burning) pen, milk paint and various types of stains.

Workshop Dates - Term 1, 2026:

• Saturday 31 January, 9am - 12pm
• Saturday 14 February, 9am - 12pm
• Saturday 28 February, 9am - 12pm

• Just come along and learn how to shape something lovely with your own two hands.
• Recommended for over 16 years of age.
