In a ground-breaking collaboration we play a set with gamelan ensemble Suwitra Jaya UNSW for part of the concert. Blending the shimmering resonance of the gamelan with the expressive depth of western strings featuring works by an Australian , a Balinese and a Japanese composer in a fusion of sounds worlds. Lively dances from Central Europe with our big string sound to round out the program will have your toes tapping.
