Join in for a unique blended Buddhist experience – Choir, Chants & Ceremony – Community Fundraiser at Nan Tien Temple, Wollongong, to mark International Women’s Day 2026.
Chanting & Blessing Ceremony + Dharma Talk
Enter the tranquil Main Shrine to experience traditional Buddhist chanting, meditation, Dharma talk and a blessing ceremony dedicated to women.
Community Choir Experience
Learn and sing “We Shall Be Known” by MaMuse and feel the power of collective voice and connection.
Led by Malika Elizabeth Reese, local professional singer, choir leader, and 2025 City of Wollongong Citizen of the Year. Open to everyone — casual singers, experienced choristers, and anyone who loves to sing.
Support & Celebrate
Honour International Women’s Day by connecting with your community and supporting women and families through our charity fundraiser for YWCA Australia (#GiveToGain).
The morning includes:
- Guided Tai Chi
- Choir warm-up, practice & final performance
- Chanting, Blessing Ceremony for Women + Dharma Talk
- Presentation of a cheque to YWCA Australia
