This program provides an overview of safe systems when working at heights using the risk management hierarchy of controls.

This course provides the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), until the arrival of medical or other assistance. More Information.

Confined Spaces

When: Fortnightly

The course is designed for persons who are required to enter and work in confined spaces but do not require competency in breathing apparatus or emergency response.  More Information.

Chainsaw Operations

When: Fortnightly

There are three courses in this program and each builds upon the learning from previous courses.

  • Chainsaw Operations – Trim, Cross Cut and Rip is an introductory or base level program that covers equipment maintenance, cutting felled trees in work settings and emergency, risk and hazard response procedures.
  • Basic Tree Felling – Intermediate provides the knowledge and skills required to assess, plan and safely carry out manual tree-felling operations using a chainsaw.
  • Tree Felling Advanced covers the felling procedures for advanced felling operations and difficult trees. More Information

Fire Awareness, Prevention & Extinguishment

When: Fortnightly

This program is intended for employees who require an appreciation of fire risk management, the importance of prevention strategies and an awareness of the correct applications and limitations of portable fire fighting appliances such as fire extinguishers & workplace fire hose reels.
