Sign Out Summer with Splash Wollongong – Saturday 6th March

Aquathon is back! It may not be on Australia Day but all the fun of Aquathon is happening at Gamble Law Splash Wollongong on Saturday 6^th March.

Splash Wollongong offers a safe, fun aquatic mix of swims and swim-run experiences held in beautiful Wollongong Harbour and North Wollongong Beach.

First up, it’s Aquathon time! Those keen to swim-run can take on the Big Aqua, Little Aqua or Kids Aqua. Take part solo style or relay with a teammate. With distances for all ages and abilities, you are guaranteed a fun day out!

Looking for more of a challenge? SwimRunX takes it up a notch with a 2km ocean swim immediately followed by a short 3km leg burning run!

If swimming is more your thing, Splash Wollongong features the Illawarra’s premier open water swims. For the more avid ocean swimmer, the “Basin2Beach” 2k ocean swim is Illawarra’s signature ocean swim taking in a unique ‘harbour start’ to finish at North Wollongong Beach. Newer or younger swimmers may find the more sheltered 400m or 800m harbour swims their ideal swim choice.

Plans are under way for a super fun Covid safe event – so get back into events and support local.
