In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, experienced local General Practitioner Dr Jemima Grant, is opening the doors of her aesthetic clinic space to support her community with much-needed medical services.
Given the looming health crisis, and the closure of non-essential aesthetic services, Dr Grant and her team of Registered Nurses will be providing Telehealth consultations to ensure patients can access top-level medical care whilst remaining protected from potential Coronavirus exposure. Telehealth calls will be triaged to ensure suitability for a telephone consultation. Medications can be home delivered by staff for a small fee, if required.
For patients who require an in-person consultation, the boutique clinic in Thirroul will operate with a maximum of two patients in the clinic at one time. For those vulnerable to infection - such as pregnant women, people with chronic diseases, Aboriginal people or those aged over 70 - this model of care with only one doctor on site, means a much lower risk setting than large practices.
Dr Grant is experienced in all areas of General Practice. Her special interests include women's health, antenatal care, sexual health, medical dermatology and holistic medicine.
Dr Grant also works regularly in Emergency, frequently managing serious and complex medical issues, and is comfortable handling acute illness. She is able to communicate with your normal GP if you are unable to see them, with the aim being keeping our community out of hospital.
For more information, or to book your Telehealth or in-clinic consultation, book online at www.thriveskinclinic.com.au or call 0404 123 781. In-clinic services commence Monday 30th March.
