Viva La Gong

Presented by Wollongong City Council, Viva la Gong is Wollongong’s annual one-day sustainable community arts festival that celebrates the city’s creative spirit and cultural diversity.

This award-winning arts and culture festival has something for everyone.

This year there are new additions to the festival program including Japanese music makers the Stompin Riffraffs, a community weave installation – Archi-Loom, Erth dinosaurs and Viva Film, a short-film competition that showcases the talent of local filmmakers.

Attendees will see local bands, artists, food and craft stalls, circus acts, community singers and dancers perform throughout MacCabe Park.
