Follow the creek line through one of the largest rainforest collections in Australia and take a trip around the world (Plan B!) as we take you to Africa, Mexico, Madagascar, Japan, Brazil, the Canary Islands and much more through the various garden collections.
If you’re feeling fit, take a walk over the Japanese Bridge, through the Woodlands Garden and up the Conifer Lawn to the stunning grounds of the historic Gleniffer Brae Manor House with sweeping views of Mt Keira and the Illawarra escarpment all the way over the city and to the ocean. This section of the garden feels like taking a step back in time. From here you can walk back through the rainforest and over the Dryland Collection.
Kids will love playing and exploring in the Discovery Kitchen Garden, the all abilities playground, visiting the insect hotel, as well as the duck pond and trying to spot the giant eels that live there.
Coffee and a range of delicious snacks can be purchased from the Garden Grounds Café between 9.00am and 2.00pm everyday near the main entrance.
