Two boys, some beers and a heritage building. That’s all it took to make this new addition to the Illawarra brewery scene come to life.
Friends and business partners, Stephen House and Brendan Dowd, are the creative team behind the transformation of Bulli’s old guest house near the train station into a Resin Brewing, an independent brewery and brewpub opening its doors on March 11th.
It began with a boarded-up heritage building that the world has forgotten, left to fight the elements on its own. But the old surfing buddies, Stephen and Brendan saw something more.
Twelve months of hard work later, this site is hardly recognisable. Resin Brewing opened its doors for an unofficial soft opening over the weekend and those who attended responded with a resounding, Yes Please! Click below to see this sneak peek video the boys released recently on Instagram:
We can’t wait to try out this fabulous new weekend venue!
