You love them, we love them, let’s get through this together.

I’m talking about the small businesses of our fair city that make our community what it is. After the new restrictions came down in NSW, many businesses are changing their approach to how best to serve their customers and it is our job to support them in this change.

Let’s run through a few local businesses that have changed their service structure to acclimatise to the current conditions.

Science Space in Wollongong may be temporarily closed but they have announced that they are offering a Virtual Science Space that will be video-based. The new online resource will be showing fun videos of science at home as well as demonstrations and STEM challenges.

Circus Monoxide may have closed their doors for physical classes but are working on a fantastic online program to stream classes and keep everyone in your family performing at their best. Stay tuned to the Circus Monoxide Social Media accounts for more information on what will be available in the coming week.

Brilliant Blooms in Balgownie are offering gift wrapping and delivery to keep your house feeling fresh with beautiful flowers or sending something special to someone you care for.

Is your little Martial Artist missing their classes? Fire Phoenix Martial Arts have moved their classes online using tools like Skype, Zoom, and Facetime to conduct everything from 1:1 sessions, group classes, belt grading and more.

The Early Start Discovery Centre are bringing all their new video content to you online with Story Time, Creator Content, and so much more to come. Stay tuned to see how they can help you keep little hands, and minds, busy at home.

My favourite hair salon, Kween Bee, are helping their clients feel their best until their next appointment with free shipping on all Eleven Hair Care products when using the code kweenbeestylz6141 through the Eleven Australia website!

Miss Zoe’s School of Dance is now offering dance classes online to keep our little dancers moving and shaking. Head to the new online section of their website to find more details.

Thirroul Fruit Barn is now offering Free Delivery on their range of fresh produce. This family-owned and operated business in the Northern Illawarra area is a favourite among locals so make sure you give them a call.

Are you a small business with something different to offer? Let us know and we would be happy to add it to the next edition. Don’t forget, adding your business listing is free on What’s On In Wollongong.
