Anvil brings to life the true story of Australia’s largest bushranger uprising — the Bathurst Rebellion of 1830, also known as the Ribbon Gang Rebellion. Led by Ralph Entwistle, the revolt began with escaped convicts and grew into a 120-strong band that challenged authority across the region before being brutally suppressed.

At the heart of this powerful new show stands Anne Woodville, an Irish blacksmith, widow, and rebel whose courage shapes the course of history.
