Dedicated to reducing violence against women and children, DV-aware is a free 2-hour awareness session that supports people to confidently recognise signs of domestic and family violence, respond with appropriate care, and refer individuals and families to relevant support services.
Open to anybody living in Australia and who is 18 years or older, this workshop provides an introduction to understanding domestic and family violence. Participants will learn the different signs and forms of abuse, and what to do if they know someone experiencing violence.
