Gin is a liquor which derives its predominant flavour from Juniper Berries. Each individual gin may draw its flavour from a wide variety of botanicals, however, in order for the spirit to be classified as gin, it must include juniper. The origins of gin date back to the early 1700’s where it traditionally emerged as a “medicinal” liquid however over time it took on its current form: Gin.
With Gin now at the top of its game there is a vast range of producers experimenting with this dynamic and exciting spirit.
