Just over 500 metres from the iconic Sea Cliff Bridge, it's perfectly placed for breakfast after a coastal drive, a long lunch overlooking the ocean, dinner as the sun goes down or simply an afternoon drink with nowhere else to be.

From breakfast overlooking the Pacific to long lunches, afternoon drinks and dinner by the coast, The Imperial at Clifton is somewhere to settle in and take your time.

Our menus celebrate seasonal produce and familiar flavours with a little polish, best enjoyed alongside a glass of something good and one of the best views on the coast.

LOCALS LUNCH CLUB

If you're a local, there's even more reason to linger over lunch. Settle in for two delicious mains, a complimentary bottle of sparkling and ocean views worth staying awhile for.

The Imperial Express is our complimentary air-conditioned shuttle connecting Helensburgh, Thirroul and The Imperial at Clifton. Hop aboard at one of our designated stops and enjoy the journey along the coast… we'll take care of getting you there and back.

PICNIC BY THE SEA

We’ll pack the picnic. You pick the view.

Our gourmet picnic hampers are prepared by our chefs and made for sharing somewhere beautiful along the coast. Whether it's an intimate picnic for two or you're gathering a group, pre-order your hamper to collect from venue or have The Imperial Express deliver it to one of our neighbouring coastal picnic spots.

All that's left to decide is where to lay the picnic rug.

Spread across three levels, our spaces combine heritage character, ocean views and beautifully considered food, with celebrations of up to 110 guests.

At the heart of our events offering is Draper & Co. — a beautifully restored space where original brickwork, dark timber floors and sweeping ocean views set the scene for celebrations that feel intimate, elevated and distinctly yours.

Our Events team will help bring the details together, leaving you to enjoy the reason everyone gathered in the first place.
