Live Review: Crooked Colours at UOW Unibar

After a hugely successful run alongside massive acts Billie EilishMØ and Nick Murphy at Groovin’ The Moo, Australia’s hottest rising electronic music act Crooked Colours have been busy celebrating the release of their highly anticipated second album Langata with an epic national headline tour.

Following support performances from triple j faves Nyxen and Kayex, the Perth boys from Crooked Colours recently enthralled fans with an insanely good performance at UOW Unibar in Wollongong.

Injecting his silky smooth hypnotic vocals into the crowd, vocalist Philip Slabber created pure electro magic together with the phenomenal drumming of Liam Merrett-Park and electrifying skills of keyboardist Leon De Baughn.

Electro tracks including I’ll Be ThereDo It Like You and Hold On had the crowd pumped with brand new track ‘Never Dance Alone’ (featuring Ladyhawke) a stand out performance on the night.

With visually spectacular lighting perfectly timed with the infectious beats, this performance from the Indie electronic trio was pure candy for the dance senses.
