Science Space Wollongong is the only major hands-on science centre in NSW. It offers exciting science experiences which are suitable for all ages. Over 90 exhibits, 5 dinosaurs, amazing science shows, it is NSW's most advanced planetarium and infinite fun - and it's right here in Wollongong!
Brand new exhibits - Energy Futures Zone
Step into the future and spark your curiosity with Energy Futures - our brand-new, hands-on exhibition that's all about energy, excitement and discovery! From clean energy tech to interactive displays, there’s something for everyone to see, touch, and marvel at. Perfect for kids, parents and curious minds alike - come spark some big fun this school break!
Pop up fun - Kinetic Corner
Join us for pop up science busking fun at the entrance to our new Energy Futures Zone Spin, bounce, shake, launch and fly as we explore the science of energy in action! Daily, times vary.
Kiosk
The team from Piccolo Me is back with their pop-up kiosk, serving a delicious selection of light meals, snacks, and drinks throughout the school holidays.

Holiday Show Schedule
- Their Planetarium and Live Science Shows run year-round on weekends and NSW School Holidays. All shows are 20 minutes in length. Tickets are required for all visitors aged 3 years and over.
