They aim to provide a unique shopping experience with over 40 local stallholders offering a large variety of goodies for sale, such as tasty treats, plants, handmade crafts, and unique gifts, including jams and sauces, honey, chocolate-coated strawberries, cupcakes, model cars, fresh flowers, clothing and accessories, and much more. On select weeks there is also kids’ art and crafts, face painting, local homemade treats, hair braiding and henna tattooing.

The Bundanoon Makers Market is held on the 1st and 3rd Sunday every month from 8.30am to 2pm (excluding January).
The market is a quality market for makers, bakers and growers from the Southern Highlands – and is totally worth the 1-hour drive from the Illawarra! Come up for a drive, enjoy the country lanes and perhaps take the time to walk one of the trails in the Morton National Park.

Crown Street Night Markets is a lively weekly night market held weekly on Thursdays from 5-9 pm. It is full of local and international foods, drinks, and sweets. With live music and a great atmosphere! Vegans and vegetarians are also catered for here. The markets are located at 200 Crown Street, Wollongong (near the amphitheatre).

As day dawns, Friday turns the Thursday night markets into the Crown Street (daytime) Markets. With local designers and fresh produce on offer, there are so many stalls to explore. On the first Saturday of each month, the Nan Tien Temple holds their Health & Wellbeing Market. These are boutique markets filled with peace and happiness. They are located within the tranquil grounds of the Nan Tien Institute (231 Nolan Street, Unanderra). If you’d like, you can use the footbridge to enter the Nan Tien Temple grounds. This is the biggest Buddhist Temple in Australia. Parking and access are available from either car park.
Activities include free tai chi classes held from 9:45-10:30 am, and free mindfulness and meditation classes held from 10:30-11 am. The art gallery is open from 9 am-2 pm. The vegan and vegetarian cafe is open from 9 am-2 pm. There you can find delicious coffee, cakes and more. Live music from 12-1 pm.
The Wentworth Boutique Markets are held on the last Saturday of each month from 10am – 2pm, in the beautiful grounds of The Wentworth, this curated boutique market features unique stalls with candles, jewellery, food, flowers, arts, crafts, and live music. It’s a celebration of local makers and quality products, with cocktails, beer, restaurants, and art galleries all part of the experience. They are set along the beach (located at Black Beach, Shoalhaven Street, Kiama), right near the town centre. There are so many stalls to explore here. Whether you want a gift or a fun day out, this market ticks all the boxes. These markets are held on the 3rd Sunday of every month, from 9 am – 3 pm. Extra markets are occasionally held on a public holiday. Extra markets are held in April, June, and January.
Kiama Farmers’ Market is a great place to meet with local food producers, artisans, and farmers to buy locally and directly from the farm. Join the community for a fun afternoon and support local food production. These markets are held in the centre of town in the town square (at Coronation Park, Surf Beach, Kiama) and are held in the Pavilion if the weather is wet. These markets are held every Wednesday from 3-6 pm during daylight savings (or 2-5 pm in non-daylight savings time).
Coledale Markets are held at the beautiful Coledale Public School (699 Lawrence Hargrave Drive, Coledale) on the 4th Sunday of the month from 9am – 3pm. Overlooking the ocean, why not pack swimmers or beach gear and make it a day out? Coledale is a beautiful little town packed with character. It is a lovely place to explore. The markets are full of stalls by local artists, hidden treasures, and good vibes. Due to the markets being held on the Department of Education grounds, it is not a pet-friendly market.

Having a night off cooking once a month (if not more often) sounds very appealing to me. Eats and Beats Shoalhaven at Jellybean Park (Egans Lane), Nowra have you covered. This family-friendly event offers great food and a relaxed, fun midweek evening out. Food truck cuisine includes burgers, Indonesian, pizza, cakes, BBQ, ice cream, and more. This market is on the 3rd Wednesday of every month from 4-7 pm.
These markets have everything you could want. Some of what is available are honey, handmade products, wonderfully bargain clothes, fruit and vegetables. But there’s much more, too. Warrawong Markets (located at Northcliff Drive, Warrawong – opposite McDonalds). This market is on every Saturday from 6am – 1 pm.
Come and enjoy their scrumptious cakes, delicious Korean BBQ and pop-up Devonshire Tea and Cafe, variety of stalls with new and preloved goods, craft, cards, plants, bric-a-brac and more! The Dapto Uniting Church Market are held outside if the weather is fine, and inside if not, so there’s no excuse not to come and check them out. These markets are held at Dapto Uniting Church (122 Princes Highway, Dapto) on the 1st Saturday of the month (except January), from 8am – 1pm.
What could be better than buying straight from the farmer or maker? Look no further; Berry Farmers’ Market is on every Thursday from 2-5 pm at Berry Bowling Club. Here, you will find seasonal produce, including Wagyu beef, honey, and milk. There are also eggs, gelato, cider, and wine for sale. Don’t forget the mushrooms, cakes, sourdough bread, ready-made meals, seafood, and food trucks. This is a family-friendly and pet-friendly market, with toilets onsite.
Beautiful Jamberoo holds a monthly market. Stalls include flowers, crafts, local produce, and much more. There is also a skate park and a playground right next to the markets. Jamberoo is a gorgeous village with character and charm to boot. It makes for a great day out with the family. Toilets are available onsite, and this is a pet-friendly (on-leash) market. Jamberoo Village Markets are held at Reid Park (Allowrie Street, Jamberoo) on the last Sunday of every month (February-November). Check their Instagram page for updates.
Why not spend a day exploring Gerringong? The Gerringong Rotary Markets offer local produce like honey, plants, food, and more. Gerringong itself has lovely shops and cafes right next to the beach, with lots of charm and beauty. Spend the day exploring the markets and wandering through the town. A day in Gerringong always feels like a holiday to me. These markets are held at 106 Fern Street, Gerringong on the 3rd Saturday of every month from 8:30am – 1:30pm.
Kangaroo Valley Farmers Market has its local growers and makers at its heart. It aims to provide sustainable food choices and support local growers and makers. Set in a beautiful location. You can expect to find meat, fruit and vegetables, eggs, honey, and olive oil. Locally made pickles, jams, and crafts are also on offer here. This market is located at The Friendly Inn (159 Moss Valley Road, Kangaroo Valley) and is held on the 2nd Sunday of each month from 9am -1pm.

Culburra Beach Market held on the first Sunday of each month from 8am to 1pm, offer a vibrant selection of handmade and homegrown products like tie-dye clothing, crystals, kids’ toys, soaps, jams, and more. Enjoy fresh bacon and egg rolls, scones from Yo Mama Kitchen, and donuts and coffee from Wicked Tasty Donuts. Set in the peaceful Culburra Beach Community Centre and reserve, it’s the perfect spot to support local makers in a relaxed coastal atmosphere.
Callala Markets are held on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 8am to 1pm, this vibrant community market supports and raises funds for local groups. Browse a wide variety of stalls offering homewares, handmade jewellery, candles, greeting cards, fashion, tie-dye, artwork, woodwork, plants, books, toys, and more. You’ll also find homemade jams, relishes, wildlife boxes, bee hotels, crystals, and sustainable living products—plus excellent coffee. New stallholders are always welcome!
The Batemans Bay Sunday Rotary Markets are held on the first and third Sunday of each month from 9am to 1pm at the waterfront foreshore on Clyde Street. With free entry, fantastic stalls, great food, and a stunning riverfront location, it’s the perfect Sunday outing. Explore a wide range of goods including clothing, collectables, plants, antiques, tools, and more—while supporting local stallholders and Rotary community projects. Note: The 16 November 2025 market has been moved to 30 November, and the extra market planned for 30 March was cancelled due to weather.
Pyree Village Art and Handmade Market is held on the 4th Sunday of each month (3rd Sunday in December) from 9am to 1:30pm, next to the Shoalhaven Potters Workshop. Organised by Shoalhaven Potters members, the market features handmade goods including pottery, woodcraft, needlecraft, natural fibre baskets, local produce, plants, clothing, cakes, jams, and more. Enjoy a variety of delicious food and drinks while browsing unique, locally made treasures.
The Moruya Country Market runs every Saturday from 7:30am to 12:30pm and has been a beloved local tradition for over 35 years. Set in scenic parkland by the Moruya River, the market hosts up to 150 stalls offering handmade goods, produce, giftware, clothing, jewellery, second-hand treasures, and tasty treats. Enjoy live music from busking performers as you browse. Run by a not-for-profit group, all proceeds support local charities, sports, and community causes. It’s the largest weekly market south of Sydney and a must-visit on the South Coast.
If you are staying in the area, check out the Tuesday SAGE farmers Market Moruya as well, where local farmers come to sell their produce, straight from the farm, or straight off the boat. They are on every Tuesday from 3-5pm.
